COM Surrogate stopped working

The program (service ?) COM Surrogate is essential to Windows. Indeed, it is the information provider for the file explorer: when it stops working that's a real problem.

In short, in my case, this is due to VirtualBox emulator but there are other reasons ... which are easier to fix.
