Backups on Ubuntu

It's always good ... I mean mandatory, to backup your data (in case of crash disk, theft, ...), but which software should be used ?

On the Ubuntu systems, I haven't found something I really like yet : Deja Dup is the new choice for Ubuntu (before it was SBackup aka Simple Backup)  but I prefer Backup-manager for the possibility of archiving straight to a DVD (or CD).
