... in market share: it's growing twice as much as his competitor !

SyncML is a standard for synching PIM (Personal Information Manager) date between different devices (PCs, PDAs, mobile phones, ...).
One of the interest of a smartphone (and in particular of the Android) is to customized it easily. We are going to see how to chose a MP3 file as a ring for the phone (for all contacts or one).
So now, it's time to migrate the Palm Memos aka Notes.
Let's break the bad news straight away: I did not find a satisfactory solution as of today.
I use a few different notes applications depending on my needs ... and I hope to be able to get a single solution ... one day.
[Edit: october, 7th 2010]: Snaptic has been rebranded into Catch and so was 3Bananas (I am going to miss the name) !

So the second part of migrating my data from Palm to my Android HTC was to get the calendar (aka Date Book) data into Google Calendar.
I did not bothered migrating the To Do List aka Tasks, as I did not see the point of keeping an history of this. I will simply create new tasks.
La seconde partie de la migration de mes données depuis le Palm dans mon HTC Android a consisté à importer l'agenda du Palm dans Google Agenda.
Je n'ai pas migré la To Do List (liste de Taches) car je ne vois pas l'intérêt de conserver un historique de ceci. Je créerai directement de nouvelles taches.

Here are my attempts at loading my Palm contacts in my Android (kind of) smartphone. I did it via Google Contacts eventually.
I wanted to stay on Linux ... it probably would have been much simpler to go the Windows route (see further) ... but I wanted to check I could do it on Linux (for future businesses considerations).
Voici mes différentes tentatives pour migrer mes contacts Palm dans Google Contacts pour qu'ils soient dans mon Android HTC.
